Last Procedure Meeting for Next School Year's Procedures

In our program, we have the flexibility and freedom to change procedures (not policies). In the program handbook, procedures are under the policies and are italicized. Any DVHCP Parent, Learner, Educator, or Employee can present a proposal for procedure change.  We vote following the Consensus Model. In this way everyone is heard. Procedure changes that are PASSED at these meeting do not go into effect until the following year. If you have a proposal for a change in procedure, write it up with the current procedure's background, intent of the change, proposed change (how the NEW procedure would read) and signatures of four people who agree with the proposal.  Remember that if you are proposing a change YOU must present your proposal at the meeting. Meetings will begin promptly at 2p.m. in LM 2 at the DVHCP campus. Caryn Braddy discusses these meetings in her director's message this month.

Remaining 2012 Meeting date:

  • May 2  (Signed Proposal due to Angela Toothaker's mailbox by 4/23)
